Hello every one, my name is Anand Arora and I am from India. I have a plan to become a successful Actuary in near future. Although I must tell you that I dont have any Finance Back Ground so far .... Still I am ready to sweat as much as possible for the preparation of the examinations for the same. I am a graduate from IIT, India's Best Engineering College which most of you might have heard of.. Although I am working in Oil and Gas Sector as a Process Engineer, Finance is where my aptitude lies.......Actuary been chosen by me because of kind of challenging assignments that lies ahead and the Money of course....
I would be really very helpful if some one could suggest me what all I need to do for becoming an Actuary... I have many doubts regarding as to what all I need to prequalify before Acturial Examinations. Plus if there are other people who are willing to be an Actuary,, I invite them to share their prep...strats...

I was wondering are theri people in this community who are preparing for acturial examinations too.
May be we all can share our experiences...
I also want to start a new blog on " Acturial Examination Preparation "
That would add a boost for me as well as for all prepies....
If there are people who have an expertise in course content.... I request them to help we guys in preparation too

Wow, you sound like you are ready to go on the blog, please post it's address as soon as you get it up and running so that we can all come visit. Once you get your blog up and running you can actually join some other sites like technorati to promote your blog, there are tons of ways to get traffic there, build it, maintain it well and they will come. goodluck
