My insurance company sent us a check to get daages fixed on our home. when i send back the invoices or receipts from these repairs will the ins comp send 1099 to the contractors who did the work??

The company needs to send a 1099 to an independent contractor, who had earned at least $600 by working under that company in a year.
If the contractor was assigned by the insurer to do the work for you, then it should send 1099 to the contractor, if the amount touches $600.
