I was collecting tdi benefits for 1 year and i exhausted my money i just received a letter from tdi stating i can reapply in 5 months. How can that be if o exhausted my benefits?? Ive work since i was 14 am i able to collect more in 5 months? Im still out of work and will be i applied for ssdi in January but havent heard anything yet

I left my job three years ago for medical leave due to cancer I was on payroll until 3/16 at which time they were no longer able to hold my position. I am currently able to return to work not at my old job but able to work. Can I collect unemployment now. I live in mass. .
