Are the Aflac short-term disability payments I received taxable? My premium is deducted from my payroll check however my employer does not pay any of it

Your AFLAC coverage is called a "voluntary" benefit. Your employer makes it convenient to pay the premiums via payroll deduction. But you pay the premium with after-tax money, so the benefit is tax-free.
