My father in-law died 2 years ago. He left my mother in-law well off. He was not a rich man.he was a factory worker till he retired and he raised cattle also. he worked himself to death I think.He dies the year after he retired. Dies of a heart failure out in the fields running cattle.He had it fixed so that when he died every bill he owed was paid for.Then he left her a huge policy besides. Now my hubby if he passed away tomorrow I would be in the poor house...lol No insurance at all to pay for anything.What does a person do when to have insurance Even the basic is so expensive it is a choice between feeding the kids and having insurance?

Whenever you get into a hospital, the first thing that they'd ask you about is whether you have a coverage or not. If you have it then the degree of care & attention that you get is quite different. The bills would show up a queue of unassociated expenses mounting up & the number of days you'd be made to stay increasing every passing day!

Yep...an 'insurable' person DOES get treated differently. It shouldn't be that way. It seems people ALREADY have an 'image' of you..a mond set..(sort to speak) of people with no insurance. Almost...like 'they' are better than you are. Sad to see.

It is really disgusting isn't it. The whole topic turns my stomach. I see very good people getting treated badly and why cause they haven't any medical.

Death and disability benefits premiums paid on loans through the financing company is a horrible deal. Term life insurance rates have been going down not up.

Unfortunately it is a necessary evil, the company has to protect itself incase something would happen to the person or persons that they are lending the money to.
I have had unemployment insurance on some loans through the finance companies and it has come in handy, paid the bill while I was laid off, that was really helpful, because when you are on unemployment compensation you only get 80% of your wage, that little bit of insurance and paying that bill can easily make up the difference.

Thats how we have all our payments except for credit cards. We have then covered to the max in case of disability, unemployment or death. One can never be to sure these days. We do not carry much balance on our cards and only have a couple. To carry the insurance on the credit cards can be fairly expensive so I do not see the sense in having the insurance with such small balances. Why is it that you only get 80% of your wages? Do they send the other 20% in towards taxes or something...never really had to deal with this.
