Hi, I came across this interactive forum a few days back but some how forgot the website and was cursing my luck until I got it back.

I wanted to ask some questions to the Insurance agents here who seem to be an experienced lot.

I would like to know, what are the steps to become insurance agent ?

What are the qualities and requirements one needs to possess in order to be eligible to become an agent?

Looking forward to your guidance.

Regards,
itirp

Leads are the life blood of an insurance business

LOL. Leads are mostly a waste of money.

How come that if you get leads for free? Nowadays there are many groups in Facebook, Google+ and Linkedin where you can have free leads just through discussion.

then you get what you pay for. If you pay for leads you get a receipt.

On the other hand, if you simply talk to people and learn to harvest and cultivate referrals, you will be in business for a long and beneficial time.

Hi, my name is Mia and I'm an independent agent at Liveops. We are currently in need of insurance agents who would like the opportunity to work at home. Rates are very good, you can even make $30/hour.
From personal experience, It's very convenient for me to be able to work at home. I am a full time student at The University of Texas at San Antonio and work part-time with Liveops. I get to stay home with my friends & family compared to when I was working as an overnight nanny for 13 hours 4-5x a week. And who doesn't like making money and not have to wake up to drive somewhere? It's phenomenal. For more information, please email me at perezmia91@yahoo.com
Thank you!
Mia
