As an owner of the software house where we develop web application and proceed with their maintenance and take care of current updates, I am looking for the right data breach coverage. Actually, we are about to start work with an international client which runs its web application globally and want us to integrate the postal codes from here with the exact locations of its outlets in the world which also includes some sensitive stock information at the backend.
Our security team is taking all measures to avoid any data breach event, but I think we should go with a data policy cover. Do you think we should pick the first-party data breach coverage plan? Or try cybersecurity plans?
Yes, we are confused between the cybersecurity and data breach plans because according to our local insurer, we should go with cybersecurity. Honestly, I am not satisfied with the cybersecurity coverages; that's why I am here to get the right advice from you guys.
Please give me the right pieces of advice.
