Hi. I need a help. I was laid off March last year and my depression got worse. I was on disability insurance since then. But my disability benefit will be ended soon. I need to find a job to survive. I started to find a job recently and no luck yet. Am I eligible for unemployment benefit after my SDI run out?

Yes, you can get unemployment benefits provided you meet the following eligibility requirements:
1. You must be financially eligible.
2. You must have an approved job separation.
3. You must be physically and mentally able to work and you must be available and seeking a full-time job.
4. You must also meet certain weekly requirements.
