Oh thank you all soooooooooo much...and the mighty lakemen remembered it not only is my birthday but my wedding anniversary (to worlds greatest husband, of course-AND the best birthday gift I EVER got)...Thank you all so much...it's so kind of you to wish me a great day....
So, what's your plan for the day?
Not much Jeremy, we just opened birthday/anniversary gifts, will go out to eat some time today...oh, get this! Husband (Tony) goes out and gets a bunch of late mail this morning, apparently came last night (it was NOT there at 8pm when he locked up) anyway, in it is a card, from a neighbor lady's son (we have never met him)...inside is a nice 'thank you' for all we've done for his mom all these years (tony, plows all the older neighbors walks and drives of snow, we help them all out if they need it, I send food and trays etc, especially around Christmas, nothing big at all)...anyway on top of a sweet card, is a hundred dollar gift certificate for the olive garden! can you believe it! ? a hundred bucks at a resturant!? You could've knocked us both over...and again, we have NEVER EVER met this guy...(we've lived here about ten years)...anyway, guess where we are going for lunch? (actually we had already decided on that i had another 20.00 gift card someone else gave us months ago and we like their food) told Tony, dang, if I was still drinkin' I could run thru that 100 in a day!  So, supposed we'll do that, I have a ton of wrapping to do...will try and get that done. But the very best part of my birthday, every year I put out a 'NO NEGATIVITY' shield around me...no one is allowed to be negative, (aka 'bitch') around me for 24 hours!~ :lol:How many orbits around the Sun on spaceship Earth have you completed? ...or have you lost track????
Unfortunately no, I have not lost track...today I'm 49 and holdin'....(got married on my 18th birthday...)....in other words, I'm an old broad...
Thanks again one and all and especially the lakemen for remembering both! I think the world of all of you

Happy Birthday & Anniversary Lori! Your gift card story reminded me of something that happened a few years ago. This guy came in to my shop with a great big christmas basket. He said a few months earlier one of his empoyees broke down in a big cargo van in front of my building and we all ran out and pushed him off of the road.
Merry Christmas, and thank you for all that you do.

Thanks Dave, it's nice when something like that comes completely out of the blue isn't it?...
