I agree with you. Disability insurance is a great thing and I have seen it help many people. It usually pays a percentage of your regular salery, I believe it is about 70% of your regular salary that you are allowed to collect for disability insurance.

I would disagree! Issues surrounding DI coverage, group of individual is quite complicated. Own Occupation and other varying definitions are alone resonsible for volumes of discussions much or less the way group pays out and when and when they will not. Personally I think most group plans are not worth the paper they are written on.
