How does a person have between 15-20 car wrecks in 1 year and never there fault and always have injuries to self and others in vehicle with them to collect insurance how do they investigate and not notice this person pattern of wrecks?

It's not likely. Almost all carriers (at least national ones) use a service whereby claims information is recorded and accessible by any other carrier using the system. For most larger carriers, this process if automatic.

If this guy, whoever he is, has successfully evaded the investigation net so far I'd award him the 'best scammer' title.
BTW, the insurers look-up the Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange report typically known as the CLUE report to learn about the history of claim of the insured. However, unfortunately a third party claim wouldn't appear in this report. But as tcope has mentioned the insurer would still share the information amongst them.

I can not see how someone these days can get away with it. With computers that can keep track of everything now it would be hard. This is also one of my biggest pet peeves. People like this ruin it for others causing higher insurance rates.

Does this the driver STILL have Insurance? Gosh......with THAT many wrecks, you would think SOMEONE would notice. Sounds like a 'High Risk' driver. I live in a small town. If someone here had THAT many accidents, I don't think ANY Insurance company would touch him. How can ALL of them NOT be his fault? OMG!!

They aren't getting away with anything...regardless of what they say...every injury they get is worth less than the prior one..(if same body part)...don't worry if this is fraud it will be found out.

i dont think any guy would have gotten away with the investigation procedures involving each and every claim he made. i dont see anyone being involved in that many accidents and none of them were his fault! there's bound to be some fraud involved. hence, i think such cases are unlikely to occur.
any insurance company in the right mind would definitely smell a rat. they would look up the history of claims, and give thorough investigation before approving further claims.

Do you happen to know WHY the accidents happened..DUI's, wreckless driving, etc. ( just think outloud here). I don't see how this person STILL has Insurance.
