my wife and i are separated. She has for the longest time stayed with her sister until we worked this out. One day I asked her to take me to the hospital because i was having some trouble that I thought might be cardiac related. See i have had 10 heart attacks and 14 strokes plus many more things i don't want to mention due to time. I retired from a duty related disability. we ht the road in route to the 70 mile trip to what was foote hospital in jackson michigan. I wasn't feeling as bad as it started because the chest pain sort of claimed a bit. just outside of the destination we came across these elderly ladies who was standing in front of the vehicle with a gas can held out to get help. w decided to help. th ladies then gave us the gas can and we went to the nearest gas station. when we got back to were the ladies was they were gone. So, we pulled over to wait for then to let us know they were fine. just then my son was complaining that the gas must be leaking so i asked everyone to get out of the van and my wife to hit the back door (which means to open it by remote). when she hit the button the door started to open and the fumes or spilled gas ignited. the insurance company both denied the claim and said to the guy she bought the van from that they thought i set the van on fire anyone who knows a firefighter can understand that the very worse thing you can accuse a firefighter of doing is to set something on fire to make a profit. thus slandering my name. They further threatened to deny her claim if i didn't show up for the deposition. i don't drive any more because i passed out before. this fact can be verified by all the people that drive me everywhere i want to go. we stay in two different places and had proof of this fact but they used this as a second reason to decline the claim. they claimed that i drove the van and set it on fire.

Please don't...I could always use a good laugh. I am not saying the post is not a true one. I am just thinking about the chances of this actually happening and the circumstances surrounding it.

Welcome to 'my' (and all other adjusters world) girls....

You have to take this claim at face value then try and figure out what really happened....it's very difficult sometimes, and then if someone refuses to show for an EUO, well frankly that makes it much easier on the SIU team or the adjuster because this OP is gonna' get this claim denied for his estranged wife...(see how I 'chattered' AND got back on topic  )

Gotcha. I can not imagine how hard this would be for an adjuster to sort out. Would hetting the remote button really cause something to go up in flames if there was a flamable? Probaly could I was thinking but what are the chances?
