I was at a stop sign leaving the mall ; it was dark and rainy and there were some bush's in my way blocking my view; I inched out to see a little bit better and a guy on a bike came and hit the side of my truck. he fell but got up and got his back and walked away.. I am not sure if anyone else saw it happen or if they got my license plate.. What could happen if they did see it?

oxsweetlissaxo ,
Are you saying that the bike was in traffic, and hit you because you stuck your nose out a little far? Your post seems to be saying two different things...

a guy on a bike hit my car while i was at a stop sign.

I inched out to see a little bit better and a guy on a bike came and hit the side of my truck.

Did you not even get out of your vehicle to ask the guy if he was ok? Did you take off?

I am not sure if anyone else saw it happen or if they got my license plate.. What could happen if they did see it?

If you left the scene of an accident, after knowing darn good and well you were in one...and one that likely caused injury to the other driver, you could be in a heap of trouble, boy for sure!

Please explain the facts of loss better..It sounds like you got your nose out too far into traffic and were hit by the bike is that what happened? What happened after the bike hit your truck and the M.C. driver hit the pavement? Did you just gun it out of Dodge or what? Why were the police not called? Most malls have their lots under their cameras watchful eye. So it's possible 'someone' saw this...

Who saw what and why? Your not clear on your question.

Ox, were you trying to get into the traffic even when you had the stop sign? If the biker has the right of the way, then you could fairly be at-fault for sticking out your nose in the traffic.

Are you wondering whether you can get out of it if there is no witness to state what happened?

Thanks,
Rupert
