I'd suggest that you discuss the matter with the doctor before deciding on quitting the treatment, make sure that you wouldn't require treatments in the future, because once you'll settle with the insurance company the insurer will not pay for the future medical bills for the same injuries. Chiropractors are often known to inflate the bills and offer therapies that are not required. Hence, the doctor's opinion is very important in this regard.

Well, I'm not sure whether the chiropractor is honest or is just trying to mislead you to inflate his bills further. If your doctor suggests that you require no more chiropractic care and is ready to settle for the claim, the insurance company will pay what is due. However, if you decide to continue with the therapies, the insurance company will do the necessary investigation before acknowledging the claim and you may end-up receiving less than the bill's amount.

Yeah, well, he's lying...no other way to put it and sounds like he is ''one of those'' chiropractors, there are many (mostly) good chiro's and there are crooks..that will try and keep you coming for the rest of your life...tell you what why don't you call the adjuster and tell him/her...first of all they will appreciate your honesty and effort to mitigate your claim, which you are required to do...chiro's like this really tick me off and give a bad name to the entire profession...IMO call your adjuster tell them EXACTLY what he said, then get the heck away from this quack!
