Hi,

..how good are comparison quotes for auto insurance?

How does the different levels of auto insurance coverage affect our online quotes?

The advent of internet has definitely helped the consumers to compare the insurance quotes online. Earlier it would have taken them days to shop around by visiting at different agents' offices but now they can do the same by sitting at home and spending as minimum as time they want.

Well, the major drawback what I feel with obtaining quotes from online sites is that you don't get the insurance agent to discuss the matter with. And, hence, will remain responsible for the future consequences. Comparing insurance quotes online demands thorough comprehension of the subject from the user so that he/she can compare the benefits of the different plans.

2nd disadvantage IMO that you may face is that almost all the comparison sites require you to put contact information. Hence, you may be subjecting yourself to spamming.

Yeah..it is always important for you to check out your alternatives before you'd apply for a policy.

It is during this quote process that you'd come to know more about the competitors' quotes. Now, that the quotes are available online, it would be easier for you to know more about the type of benefits that the coverage would provide you in the mean time.

Today the auto insurance carriers would also provide you with a coverage counselor who'd provide you with the coverage information pertaining to your state.
