My car was backed into

My car was backed into by a uhaul truck while parked at work. My bumper was ripped off. I've sent the claims adjuster everything she told me she needed after finally haggling her contact info out of the operator. I spoke with her once, three days after the accident. The accident was two weeks ago, she still wont's answer the phone or respond to my email asking her to verify she recieved the information. What can I DO??? I need my car fixed.

I'm so sorry Amy adjusters like this, well they just piss me off :x and give the rest of us a bad rep...call her again, when her voice mail picks up, hit zero, that should route you to someone else, ask to speak to her supervisor or manager, if you get their voice mail do it again, ask for the number of the supervisors boss...this is an easy claim and should've been handled by now, if there is an issue they should've let you know...

Who is the company? and the State this happened in I might have some numbers for you...again, so sorry this is NOT the way an adjuster should handle a claim there is NO reason EVER to not return calls...

Let me know and I'll see what I can find, also follow my suggestion.

Your own insurance agent can help out..."unofficially" - that is, without filing a claim against your insurance. Many a time have I made calls for my clients to other companies adjusters to help the process roll along.

What is he smoking? And is it legal (tscope)...He really is laugh out loud funny.
Shouldn't they have been supplying the poster with a rental vehicle ?

Well of course it's not legal otherwise it wouldn't be fun...just kidding he's probably had one of those reallllllllllllly long days, and is a little buggy, i have those too.... THAT one really cracked me up too...

Only if it's non-driveable, or while it is down for repairs...I'm betting the adjuster is having a hard time figuring out who is paying if the uhaul was being rented...and don't know who they insure the driver or uhaul...doesn't matter IMO they should still stay in contact with the OP and let her know what is going on and how the coverage investigation is going...not returning calls is one of my bigges pet peeves...I HATE THAT...

Oh as of recently I am going to agree with you on the fact that keeping the person posted on what is going on would be wonderful. I have had a T-scope day myself..kind of like 60 days up...both people on my case was on vacation and I can't imagine the other side not contacting them by now . Just been a bad week all around...glad I can come here and just let it all go for a while.
If it was just the bumper could they pull it off and still be road legal?

That's a local ordin. thing...usually no on an auto, sometimes ok on a truck....she doesn't want to touch it though till a decision has been made.

I see. Hopefully work won't complain about it being there. If so they would pretty much have to deal with it since she wouldn't have the option to move it until after the decision is made.
