THis is very complicated, my daughter is 19 and a college student who has just gotten her license. She is home for the summer and will be borrowing my mother's car to get to and from work only during the summer. The car is titled in my mother and father's name, and insured by them, and we do not live with them. They live in KY and we live in OH. I live with my domestic partner who owns two vehicles ( I am not titled on either one), one which I drive, and I am listed as a driver on thatr auto policy. I want to be sure we are safely covered but I don't want to pay premiums or put up red flags unnecessarily. THANKS for your help.

Sorry, but I feel that you have jumbled up two issues in one. :(
Your daughter driving her grandmother's car and your being insured on the car your are driving are two completely separate issues. Please elucidate it more for us.

I'm trying to determine if I have to specifically list her as a driver on either car to be safely covered in the case of an accident. All cars have full coverage.

I would think if she is the DRIVER of a car, but, not the OWNER, you SHOULD put her down on the Insurance, as well ( just putting in my '2 cents'). You just don't know what could happen...ya know.

If there are any regular drivers to vehicles they have to be added to the policy.
