Probaly the people who were fighting in my opinion. They may hold both the person doing the pushing and the your son if he was participating in the fight. I do not know this at 100% but I had a similair incident with my teenager a couple years back and it involved a windsheild. Myself and the other parent had to pay restitution.

Depends...who was disiplined for the fight? more than likely it will come down to both unless one child was clearly the starter of the fight, and your boy an unwilling participant...let me guess, middle school/junior high?
Let us know about who started it, etc, and we'll try and sort it out.......be honest...

As mentioned, it depends on who was at fault and this would require more details... probably only obtainable from a statement of the two people fighting. More then likely both kids would be at fault and it's just a question of how much for each one. I doubt one child could say that they were only defending themselves.

Yep...betting on both anymore the schools have a zero tolerance policy and usually if both kids threw punches or was involved in anyway they will both be punished. Kids...oh I have had my share of bills to pay from my teen...I really feel for you. Good luck.

Yep, both may be held responsible for the damages. However, the percentage of fault may vary, i.e. the boy who had stated the fight might have to bear a larger portion of the damages.
