Hey friends, I'm about to sign for an auto policy, however, I'm come to know that the insurance companies preserve the right to deny your claim. Is this true? If so, then under what circumstances I may end up with a denied claim?

Yep....I don't know if I can say the name of the Insurance Company that DID 'accept' my ex's policy. BTW..as some of you reply to my posts, I thnk some of you ASSUME I am a male ( probably cuz of the Forum ID I use..). NOPE......44 year old, single mom ( wonderful son, I may add!). I work full time and serve in the military. Anyway......I'm ALSO a MAJOR sports fan ( can ya tell?) Born and raised in San Diego, CA.....Chargers aren't doing well this season, but, I'm still sticking with them. Yep...my ex doesn't have the best driving record in the world.LOL

You can tell us. Don't be shy...lol.
(Thank you for your service!)
We have companies here that seem to have only wo requirements to give you an auto policy.
Car and License. Driving record? No worries.

LIFEISGOOD..you're welcome for 'my service'. I serve in the Army Reserves. Been in ( about?) 12 years. Was deployed to Kwaitt/Iraq in 2003 and was there 1 year. Some of the people in 'my' unit, are deploying, again. Not me, this time!! Ok..the insurance agent my ex uses is Progressive......he pays about $150.00 just for liabilty. Had a truck accident some years ago, but, it still on his record. A few speeding tickets, etc.

you think speeders would learn after the first or at least second ticket...

Accident and tickets..yeah..that will hurt.
But as time goes by, they will eventually drop off - and his rates should reflect that.

If he is the ex..she may not want them too. LOL. Proud to say (knock on wood) I have never had a ticket...accidents yes...none that were my fault.

I had an accident, too. I don't know what KIND you would really call it..Fault or No-Fault? I hit 'black ice', during the winter time and went headon into a guardrail. Sure wasn't fun. Insurance paid for everything. I even received a bill, from the State, for the damamge to the guardrail..good grief!!

sorry that ones 'at fault' or 'chargeable' sd.

Mmmm.....I'm just glad I din't hit another vehicle. The whether was really bad...snowing, icy, etc.

doesn't matter about the weather (ins chargeable wise)...one bit of proof in your claim is they paid (under your liablity coverage) for the guard rail..
