As a way to get my settlement amount closer to what I think is fair. Would it be legal to sign some type of a medical release form in exchange for a larger settlement. And have my health issues received from the accident taken care of in another way? (I have a chiropractor friend that owes me for a loan and I thought this might be a way he can pay me back.) would this be considerd insurance fraud?

Yep that's fraud if you mean he would dummie up a bill and you would get paid for it....also he could lose his license...i wouldn't fool around with that at all...did you get my pm re: your value and additional questions I had? (i have to leave in about 10 minutes)...

What kind of injuries you have suffered? You haven't mentioned anything about the injuries in your earlier posts, so I'm just curious. However, it isn't a good idea of fake the injuries as well as the medical bills. The adjusters are anyway to find it out sooner or later and you may lose even what is due. I'd suggest that you stay out of such scam and ask the friend to repay you directly.
