1996 Contour- Hail dmg < ACV- don't want slvg title

My 1996 Ford Contour received hail damage. Estimates are showing approx $3,000 to repair. These are dents only and the car is very much drivable. From what I can tell the value of the car is approximately $2,500. I want to keep my car but I don't want it totaled out. I am meeting with the insurance adjuster in the morning. What do I need to tell him to accomplish this?

I'm sure you know what it means to tag a car as 'totaled', don't you?

Is your estimate for conventional repairs or Paintless Dent repair?

Hello Ashley, are you sure that there is no other damage to the vehicle? I think once you take the vehicle to the repair shop some other damages too may get discovered, which would take the car further beyond the totalled value threshold.
