Hi, All I have a question about a settlement amt. that was offered to me by my insurance company after an auto accident. My car was a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica which was deemed a total loss. The car has 58,495 miles on it. I was offered a settlement amt. today of 13,800 which will still leave me a balance. I am trying to find out if I am able to not accept that and ask for more and also how do I see for myself the ACV?? If anyone could help determine the value of the car I would be more than happy to list any other iinformation.

Good morning aquarius29
Your vehicle insurance carrier (or the other carrier) only owe you the ACV of your vehicle NOT the pay off...If you have GAP insurance you need to file a claim with your GAP carrier, they will pay off the balance.
If you want me to run a value for you I'd be happy to, but I need to know is it 2wheel or all wheel drive, is it a limited, touring, or just plain pacifica, does it have aluminum/alloy wheels/fixed funning boards, Intermezzo stereo/leather seats/luggage rack/navigation system/power sunfroof/rear entertainment system/theft RECOVERY system/towin/camper package. Also if there is ANY unrepaired prior damage, including hail/seats burns, scratches/dents etc. Or you can check NADA on line, or Edmunds...no carriers I am aware of use the Kelley Blue book so stay away from that one...

Well I get $12,275.00 that is based on July's Central edition. If the loss occured in June, would be little bit more, and if you are not in the center of the country there could be a minor difference...I took the liberty of adding luggage rack ($100.00) and aluminum/alloy wheels ($225.00), because I figured you'd just forgotten to mention them, if not then you would deduct the amounts I have next to them...so looks to me they are making you a more than fair offer...
