Hi, I am looking for auto insurance that has a disability (rider) and coverage for funeral expenses. State of Missouri.

Hi Sara, the auto liability insurance would cover the expenses of funeral if you kill another person in an accident. Hence, the simple auto liability policy would suffice.

However, in no fault states where you are required to carry the Personal Injury Protection (PIP) which would cover such expenses for you and your passengers wounded in the accident.

Hope this helps.

Disability rider?? The auto liability coverage would compensate the injured party if he/she suffers disability after the accident. Some insurer may term it as disability rider, but almost in every state the liability coverage covers the disability arising from accident naturally.

just an fyi, MO is not a PIP state...

Sarah you are wanting this for members of your household right? MO does sell an accidental death endorcement, also medpay which also covers some funeral expenses as well...I am unaware of a disability endorcement...now as the other posters have mentioned if you are strickly talking about the injury you or a driver of your vehicle inflicts upon another...these costs (disability and funeral) are covered under your Bodily injury protection/coverage...
