Dear valen,

Welcome to the forums!

See, this is an insurance forum...so the term 'license' reminds us of insurance agent license. Are you inquiring about that?

It can very well be the license to operate as an adjuster. Steven, I think only the OP can now put us on the right track.

However, if he is indeed looking to become an insurance adjuster here is an old thread that might help.

I personally know one or two people that have felonies and can no longer get a Drivers License. However.........i don't know what the felonies are. I DO know one of these people had several DUI arrests. But, I don't know if the DUIs have anything to do with it.

Felony = Real Bad for Insurance License.

Probably not in most states OR inordinate explanations.

Forget-about-it if the felony involved money, meaning, your hand in the cookie jar.

Hey Valen..

When you talk of felonies it's real tough!

Still I'd be interested to know what kinda felony you're pointing to..

Steven and the other posters are also waiting for you to break the ice regarding the kinda license you're talking about..

Yeah...good luck on the OP actually responding. Gary was right on- U.S. Civil Code 18-1033 prohibits by federal law anyone with a felony or any misdemeanor involving breach of trust, misappropriation of funds, property, etc. to get or keep a license without the express written consent of the "regulatory official" in your state. That's the insurance commissioner.

Way more to it than that, but there ya be!
