It would be better to have them insured under the same policy... especially if you are the only driver. Most carriers give a multiple car insurance discount.

We had this question with someone else, I agree with tscope, you would get a multiple car discount with the multiple car insurance, I guess I would wonder why you would want to deal with two different insurance companies anyway, it would be like having two electric or phone bills, hee hee, one is enough, thank you.

hey
Most carrier give a multi-car discount.
Certainly!
Apart from that less paperworks & less days to be reminded of. I think thats even fair enough with your financial status!

It would be financially benficial to have them both on the same policy with the same company.Posted: Thu Jul 24, 2008 05:33 am Post Subject:
tcope gave you the answer. It is best to get a multiple car insurance to gain the multi-vehicle discount. Also get your home or renters insurance from the same place to save even more.

Like everyone said, the best way is to go for the multiple car insurance benefits with one company. The only benefit is if you were really concerned about the history of someone else affecting your profile. The only way I could see it being "financially beneficial" is if your car were listed to a primary driver other than you who had a questionable driving record and you wanted to keep things kind of "separate" for financial reasons.

Try to turn around the local car insurance company and talk about you need. Do not buy anything at the first company. Check it with all companies and choose the best multiple car insurance offers from them. I suggest you choose the best offers from one company only.
