I live in Toronto and I have comprehensive insurance on my vehicle, do I need to let the insurance company know that my son and husband ocassionally drives the vehicle? I also have a clean driving record.
Am I insuring the vehicle so anyone can drive it at any time. We all use the bus, the vehicle is driven on weekends mainly and ocasionally during the week.

yes, although your rates will likely be higher you definately need to let them know...other wise you run the risk (should a claim arrise) of mis-rep and them denying the claim all together...give your agent a call.

We actually will get a paper in the mail occasionally from our insurance company asking about members who live in the household and if they are of driving age or drive the vehicle. I woudl report it just to be on the safe side.

Some insurer may not cover damages if it occurs during an unlisted driver driving the vehicle. Hence, it'd be wise for you to inform the carrier about your husband and son driving it occasionally.
BTW, why do you only have comprehensive coverage on the vehicle? As far I know it'll not cover the damages occurred in an accident. Isn't collision coverage required in Canada?
