Insurance products have a limit period within which you can make a claim. I guess 8 years is quite long for you to make a claim.Try to find out from our insurance company the time limit they've set for making a claim.

What exactly you want to know? You may have to supply more information to better responses. What help do you expect from us after eight years of accident? I think in most states the SOL would have expired by now.

The only way I can think of the SOL not expiring is if the person was aminor at the time and the case was never settled. After reaching the age of eighteen can they not still sue? I was thinking the SOL does not start for underage people until their 18 th birthday. I could be wrong.
