it depends upon in which circumstances you were driving. If you were driving for any official purpose then your employer will surely for it. but if the case is that you were driving for your personal purpose then in that case your employer might ask you to pay for your bill from your personal insurance cover.

I would think you would be covered by whatever protection the policy holder of the vehicle had regardless of whether you were out on work related business. I would check with your compan y and see what type of plan and what coverage there is that you would have access to.
Also there are professionals here that will swing by and give you a pretty good answer or ask you some questoins they will help you get the answer you need.

A policy most often follows the vehicle and therefore you may not get coverage from your personal insurance since you were driving company's car. Are you not insured with your company's insurer as a driver?
However, its not clear from the post whether you have caused the accident or its a single car accident? Please, elucidate the query with the details of the accident. It'd help the members to give precise responses.

If you have caused accident to the other driver then the company's insurance would act as the primary coverage. Your insurer may take the claim up if the primary coverage limit falls short of meeting the claim, i.e. your personal carrier would act as the secondary insurer.
Hope it clarifies.
