I am on my work permit visa in UK. I meet with an accident about 4 weeks earlier. Have placed a claim with my car insurance company. I have an international driving licence, is there a possibility to withdraw my claim and settle it directly with the third party? Please let me know if there would a problem with my visa.

Please let me know what best needs to be done. I am in a cloud of confusion. Please HELP?!?!?!?!?

You'll need to talk to your carrier about this...in my part of the world this is possible if ALL parties agree, but this is a carrier to carrier decision. Call your adjuster tomorrow.

I have no idea, but would doubt it as long as everything is taken care of.

It's ok, calm down, if you were insured when this occured, then there should'nt be an issue...I have no idea how insurance works in the UK...but again, if you have a policy that is/was in force on the date of the accident you should be golden..

Work visa huh? What do you do? (just curious)
