Thank you all for your comments,
I will see in a few days if they start paying the claims.
No I was not driving, a friend borrowed the car and hit a utility pole. Totaled the car and injured two other friends that were in the vehicle. All this while on a suspended DL
that I did not know of.

Okay then, you weren't the driver with suspended license, IMO then you shouldn't be worried about the claim being covered (the utility pole and damages of your car) but I would doubt if the insurance company would entertain the medical bills of the driver and his passengers. The driver would then be responsible for their medical expenses.
I guess the friend of yours is also without coverage, right?

Of course they will some states 'may' prevent the driver, although I doubt it, and all the injured passengers will have a BI claim agains the policy as well...Biggest unfortunate is that the Insured (our poster) will pay the bill for all of it. Hugely increased premiums for this accident for years to come....it's always dangerous to lone your vehicle out...this type of thing happens, and everyone walks away leaving the vehicle owner paying the tab.

My 20 year on son is on my policy had had his licenses suspended for 6 month just yesterday due to a court case and violation of probation. Nothing to do with a car accident or dwi. Should I notify the insurance carrier. Will it be hard for him to get coverage again.

Probably not too hard to get coverage, but it'll cost him a bundle, are you sure in those court proceedings he wasn't ordered to get an SR22?

Hi msglite,
I could empathize with you, since he is on your policy, and it's hard to get away with things these days. You've shown your concern regarding the chances of you son getting covered yet again.
But are you still prepared to keep him on your policy and share the consequences? Did you consider how it would affect your rates if he get's something worse in the future? Pinkfloydfan

My son whom has no drivers license (suspended) went to store with my daughters car, a kid hit him. My daughter stepped up and said she was driving so her brother wouldnt get into trouble. The kid also signed a statement saying it was his fault and my daughter was driving. We filed a claim with his insurance company, can we get into trouble if he goes back on his word and says my son was driving? Does it matter who was driving being it was the kids fault.?

So instead of just one liar in the family, you have two.
can we get into trouble if he goes back on his word and says my son was driving?
Now you're concerned about a third liar telling the truth. It's not a matter of "going back on his word", it a matter of honesty.

That depends on the state in which this incident happened. There are a few "pure contributory negligence" states. In those states, a person who is even 1% at fault cannot collect for his damages. Your son was driving while his driving privilege was suspended. The argument could be raised that if he were not driving, the accident would not have happened.
So, my question is pretty simple: Who taught both your children to be liars?

It usually depends on your insurance policy. Likewise, if your insurance coverage only revolves around your driving and doesn't cover other members of the family can drive then probably, it will affect you.
However, I would suggest you to try this kind of services ( https://www.europeandocsexpress.com ) in this kind of situations where you need a quick driving license card. Yes, it is an excellent opportunity for European people but you shouldn't forget to reissue your own original driving card because I am only suggesting to use this service in case of any urgency or calamity.
