how about a quote on a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 Regular cab 2wd 5.2liter 208,000 miles, power everything, cruise, automatic, perfect mechanical condition no leaks at all, and 10" lift kit, great body and paint

I have been rear end at about 60mph and thinking it will be totaled since part of the frame is bent in the rear but not affecting the rear axle but the bumper

First off TTT,

thinking it will be totaled since part of the frame is bent in the rear but not affecting the rear axle but the bumper

Frame damage doesn't automatically total a vehicle, and from your discription it likely will repair (the frame that is....is it kinked or just bent?) Did you look at the back of your cab? did the bed smack it? What about the bed?

Based on the info your provided, I'm getting right around $3400.-3750.00...if it's got laramie/slt, or sport pack that adds some, diesel adds much more, work truck package reduces it...Unfortunately your lift kit doesn't add anything to the actual ACV, I'm not saying it might not make it worth more to a kid that wants a truck that sets up...but the ACV is unaffected...also if it's in really clean shape there may be a little more added for that. The values I've posted are retail...based on the middle of the country...

Well TTT, like Lori has said frame damages wouldn't always total a MV. From your description it seems that the insurance company may wish to repair the vehicle. Hence, you first should file the claim.

By the way, are you dealing with the insurer of the responsible driver or making the claim under your policy? Further, also let us know the state you belong to since state laws would play an important part in determining the fate of the car.
