hi i have a question regarding info my insurance adjuster told me my car was stolen in las vegas and was later recovered. he told me they were trying to find a car transporter that would bring my car back to michigan for under $10,000. Does this figure sound realistic or just another stall tatic. My vehicle was stolen on 4/24/09.

Stalling to what end? I'm guessing that they are figuring on the cost to return the vehicle to determine if it's less expensive to simply pay the value of the vehicle and deem it a total loss rather then pay for the return of it. It might take a few days/week or so as it's not every day that an insurance company needs to find an inexpensive way to transport a vehicle across the US.

Hi KAB777..
Does this figure sound realistic or just another stall tatic.
Well..it would be difficult to figure that out since you haven't mentioned anything regarding the condition of the vehicle.
Did you go through the policy paper works?
Please check whether it's mentioned that they wouldn't pay the value of the vehicle if it's recovered.
