i hope you are asking about woman car insurance

The new scheme will involve the addition of speed monitoring devices to young driver's cars in return for low cost car insurance.

The scheme is looking for up to 1000 volunteers who will have the devices fitted to their cars in return for up to half price low cost car insurance.

The device will record speed data as a driver travels in their vehicle and will report sustained speeding to the low cost car insurance company as well as warning the driver via audio alerts over 30mph and 70mph. The company will then contact the driver to warn them of the offence. The scheme will allow for an undisclosed amount of speeding but persistent speeder will have the three strikes and your out rule applied to them.

i searched about it but hardly got good information. this is the outcome.

but woman car insurance are really cheaper as compared to other normal car insurance. let's watch for expert comment.

WHAT???

What is "women only" insurance? Health? Life? Car? WHAAAAAAAT??? :?: :?: :?:

By the way...

The differences in rates for car insurance between men and women disappears with just about every carrier once the insured turns either 25 or 30, depending on the company. Sorry, Amit...

Sorry Amit, I see no connection between OPs question and your post :( but yeah, one thing you have mentioned right that speed would remain a decider for the auto insurance premium.

Regarding the price difference in the auto policy, the insurers assume that the women are more responsible as drivers than men but as Teacher has mentioned the difference is dissolving fast

I am glad to hear this is a crock. Once a driver reaches 25 and has a good driving record it would be riddiculous to discrimonate between males and females. They do these surveys or studies and come up with the weirdest things. I have seen plenty of speedersa both male and female. Insurance should be based on the responsibility of the person driving and not their gender.
As for the moniotrs in cars...that seems like a sure fire way to accumulate tons of speeding tickets. How many times have you looked down ot your speedometer and pressed the brake cause you did not relize your speed? All of us do it whether its 2 or 5 or 10 miles over the speed limit. Th responsible person presses their brake pedal as soon as they relize it.

We STILL have no idea what the OP MEANT!!

does woman only insurance actually give greater OUTSTANDING benifits then normal insurance? or is it another gimic? ...

Nobody is addressing the OPs specific question, because NOBODY understands what you are getting at! What is "women only" insurance? Does anyone have a clue on this?

We have asked for clarification on this...could the OP please respond? We are all talking about car insurance which may have nothing to do with the original post!

Well, Teacher, you're absolutely right that the OP wasn't clear in her post. However, I think in countries like UK and Australia, insurers' target the women drivers by offering policies that are specially designed to cover them. These policies might offer certain additional benefits not available with the standard auto policies.

But, yeah, we certainly need more information from the OP to generate a useful discussion on this issue. Hope she would come back and follow-up with more inputs.

Thanks,
Rupert

Diamond Car Insurance (a part of the Admiral Group) offers, rather say pioneered the women special auto insurance.

A women only auto policy may offer higher level of coverage for the handbag and jewelleries. Some offers 24x7 after accident assistance to the drivers.
