Don't know much..I guess you're inquiring about organizations that are focused on final expense selling. I guess Forethought is a known broker firm along with names like Monumental.

If you're about to go for a lead-program..then I must say that the brokers would generally provide junk leads. In order to handle final expense efficiently, get your own leads and optimize performance. Make sure that you associate things with the best suited products.

I am contracted with forethought financial. You have to go through an fmo to get set up. They do not let you go direct with them. I have a contract higher than 110% so I can offer people this same contract once they get contracted with us. we also have another contract with another very competitive company. we can get you contracts up to 115% so if you are interested in that please let me know. we also have a great lead program. you never dial a number your phone just rings and you set apts.

this sound great!! you never dial a number, i need to look into this new idea but i am skeptical about those leads provided by brokers, which will eventually put more risk on your part. surely if you want to do this on part time basis then it is OK you go for purchasing those leads but for full time surely you need to look for a good long term view for lead generation.

the idea is actually pretty simple. you pay for the leads but the lead calls you to set up an appt. you pay about 4 bux everytime someone calls you. I can explain in more detail later. I hear what you mean about "saturating" the market. we have a strategy for that also. it will not work for captive agents though because it involves promoting different products. for instance I will promote final expense one month, mortgage protection the next, RM'S or annuities the next then back to final expense, targeting different age range and income range. amit, where you from and what do you promote? are you captive or independant? we also have an awsome Idea that we hope to be rolling out very soon involving credit unions. this is going to be a great year!!

hello dtrmind, i am actually a independent but not from the states.i operate my insurance business here in India.but nevertheless i got this nice idea from you so surely this is going to be helpful in my 'pursuit of happyness' in monetary terms.
Typically, when these things happen the state will take control of the company and attempt rehabilitation. If that fails they'll sell the company to a healthy insurer and all policyowners will be safe and sound.
Final Expense policies are garbage policies sold by garbage insurance companies to desperate people.
The good thing about the current financial turmoil is it gives the industry an opportunity to take out the trash.
Question for OP and please don't take offense...but...how good does that 110% 1st year commission look to you now?
That's inordinate writing agent compensation and anyone that would do 30 seconds of due diligence would know that.
No "writing agent" is paid 110% 1st year commission with any reputable company.
It's these type companies and the agents that sell their garbage that give the insurance industry a black eye.
So OP I have two questions for:
#1) Would you have sold your Mother a "Final Expense" policy with Shenandoah?
#2) Would you want to be the beneficiary on that same policy?
If you can't answer,... YES,... to both questions then why do you sell this company's products?

I hate to see Shenandoah Life go away. I hate to see all those people at the home office also lose their jobs.
