I’m trying to conclude on some figures regarding insurance costs for my new small business plan. I am going to form my own beverage firm and was curious to know which insurance policy/policies I need. The business will be based in Texas and the startup will be very small with an initial investment of $50k. A truck, few employees and a rented office/warehouse. Anyone having any idea how much insurance such a small business like this might pay per month/year?

Work with a local independent agent or broker to get the coverage you need. At a minimum, you will need Commercial General Liability, Commercial Auto, and Workers' Compensation policies. You may also need a Commercial Property policy, Business Owner's Policy or other coverage. No one here can tell you what the cost is.

For small business insurance you don't need to pay much. You should need to talk to your local broker only he can give you the right suggestion. Also focus on risk assessment and general needs.

The common expense of insurance for a small business is dependent on the size of the business and the characteristics of businesses. The more risky and bigger the operation, the more the company will pay out. According to Reliable Option Independent Insurance Agents, a sole proprietor can assume to pay about $500 yearly for general liability insurance, while a small consulting business will most probably pay around $3,000 yearly. Small businesses that have legal responsibility concerns, such as landscapers, can assume to pay about $15,000 yearly. Mistakes and omission insurance averages between $1,000 and $3,000 per $1 million of coverage.

If you are planning to get a General Liability Insurance for your company then it can cost. $29.17/mo. or $350.00 annually. But id depends on your companies annual revenue and number of staff employees that's why you need to contact an insurance company first and you can get detailed information about it.
