How is a business owners policy (BOP) different from general liability?

BOP is a package policy that covers liability and other losses as purchased (theft, vandalism/malicious mischief, business interruption, property damage, etc). General Liability only covers those third-party losses which are not otherwise excluded from coverage. You have to read the policy to know what is not covered.

A Business Owners Policy is a package of policy coverage that includes general liability. While general liability is just one policy that only covers third-party losses.
