I've heard about business insurance covering so many different types of businesses. Is it possible to get the assets of my lawn care business covered under any policy?

If I were in a lawn care business, I'd never take any risks. It's always a challenge to survive in this competitive world. Even a lawn care business has assets, then why would it be different than any other business!

You can obtain a business owner's policy (BOP) to cover your liabilities from your lawn care activities. Damaged plants/lawns, broken windows, fires cause by your negligence, those sorts of liabilities, and more.
You also need a Business Auto Policy (you are probably using a standard Personal Auto Policy improperly -- which means no coverage!!) to cover the movement of your truck and equipment around town in the event you collide with another vehicle or property or person.
You may want theft coverage for your business equipment -- your mowers, trimmers, tools -- in the event they are stolen. Normally not included in a BOP.
If you have even one employee -- whether paid "under the table" or by check -- you are responsible to cover that employee with Workers' Compensation insurance. Failure to do so can cause YOU to go to prison for Workers' Compensation insurance fraud, as well as get you in trouble with other taxing authorities, which can lead to tax evasion charges, state and federal.
You may not fully appreciate the risk to which your business is exposing you. Find a good local agent who knows commercial insurance.

There's no doubt that you need to apply for business liability coverage as well as coverage to protect any damages caused to property at the same time.
Apart from that you should also seek coverage against fraudulent credit card operations.

Apart from professional liability, you should also cover your key employees, vehicles etc. Make sure, you talk with an agent regarding all opportunities before you sign up!

If you have extensive use of communications equipment in your business, make sure that you have the right coverage for it. Also, get your desired coverage for computer data programs and associated equipments.
