You can contact your state health department or go to centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and find out if you are eligible for Medicaid.
It is a government run program, which provides medical assistance for low-income families and gives coverage to already pregnant women.

If you don’t qualify for Medicaid then you can seek assistance from other alternatives which offer a discount of up to 50 % or even more, if you avail their health care services.
Plans like AmeriPlan, is such an alternative, where you can avail discounts. This is not an insurance and is available in most of the states and have no-waiting period, deductibles or pre-existing conditions exclusions.

WRONG! This OP is not going to be eligible for Medicaid, and you don't contact the state health department or CMS about it, either -- it a Dept of Public Social Services (or whatever your local welfare agency is called) matter.

Ameriplan is not insurance and anyone can negotiate their own discounts without having to pay someone like Ameriplan. These kinds of "pay for discount" plans are a joke.
