I have a lot of work to be done to my teeth but have no dental insurance. I've hunted up and down the web and can only find stuff like 10-50% discount plans. What the heck is one supposed to do when their mouth is in need of help? Please help!

Contact a local dental school and see if they can provide you free service. Those students need to practice on someone. Seriously... they do look to perform free service.

I would like to know what options are there to cover dental expenses? there are a lot of options for health insurance but they don't actually cover dental services. Please let me know about dental insurance plans for a person who doesn't have any pre-existing dental conditions (cavities or any other major probs). Please advice!

Discount Dental Plans are actually a great alternative to insurance. You save on the procedures and they only cost around $80 for the year. You should research how much you will save on your procedures with one.

I heard that any kind of discount health plan is utterly useless. I read something about it in this forum as well.
Is this really true in case of dental plans also?

Yes even I've heard that health discount plans are scams, so it's better to get proper health insurance. But I'm not sure about dental plans. EXPERTS ANY SUGGESTIONS??

I'm currently employeed full time and am a full time college student, but my place of work doesn't provide dental insurance! Does anyone know of any places that offer a dental only plans that an individual can enroll in? I've seen a few online, but the relatively high application fees make me wonder if they're legit or not. I'd need something that covers the southern Mississippi area.

Please contact your health insurance company to find out what kind of costs for teeth services they will cover and how much you need to pay by yourself. You have the option to get a private teeth insurance where all costs for teeths and teeths replacement will be covered for a small fee per month.

There are a lot of carriers out there to provide you with a comprehensive dental insurance plan. Some of them do offer discounts. There are plans which start as low as $6 per year per person to as much as $230 per person per year, each with their own unique benefits. Explore a little, you will find one best suited for your needs.

Those cover the toothless people in Appalachia.
