Insurance needs for pregnancy

Hi, I am a married woman of 26 yrs. I am considering about having a child. I am covered under the group health plan for employees. What kind of special insuranc ce will I need for pregnancy conditions?

Likely nothing additional. In just about every state, maternity is required to be covered under group medical plans like any other illness and cannot normally have a waiting period for coverage nor any "special" limitations attached to the coverage.

What state are you in?

As far as I know, its fine to be insured during pregnancy or maternity period, as many people do it, but the fact is that it is valid if anything serious happens at the time of pregnancy or delivery otherwise if everything goes normally, then policy gets collapsed. So I think you are not going to have any advantage.

What the heck does this post actually mean? She's most likely covered... how is the policy going to "collapse" and how does she "not have any advantage?"
