Will insurance company find out if I drop courses?

After my first week in college I realized that I don’t want to continue my majors. I realized in a week I am not cut out for it. Anyway, I just wanted to know if I stop going to the college, will my insurance carrier find it out? I may again visit during the next semester but won’t continue if I don’t like it. My parents spent so much money over the course and will just kill me if they come to know about this.

The reason why I am asking is if I have to be a full time student to receive my parents health insurance.

It solely depends upon the type of your insurance policy and the terms mentioned in its documents. So, go through the papers and find out whether or not you are required to be a regular student in order to receive the health insurance payments.

It matter more if the OP is in America or some other country in the world. In America, he can remain on his parents' policy to age 26, and it does not matter whether he is a student, married, or living somewhere else.
