I recently moved to Texas area from Iowa along with my husband and 3 kids. Here I’m having trouble finding a doctor who would accept Iowa Worker’s Compensation Insurance. My doctor, who is a Chiropractor and Pain Management Specialist, could not help with any reference in here and I’m sure the claims adjuster will not offer any kind of help. Previously I had absolutely no idea that moving to another state would create so much problem with my coverages.
Do anyone here know any doctor in Austin, Texas that will accept out of state Worker's Compensation Insurance? My medication ran out over a week ago and I have been stuck in bed with a heating pad living day to day.
Moreover, I reached out to many doctors’ clinics and enquired about paying out of pocket so I could get my prescriptions renewed, but all of them denied as it’s an ongoing worker’s compensation case.
Thanks for your time.

Your best course of action is to contact the insurance company that is paying the workers' comp claims and ask them what doctor to use.
