Do people having Medicaid (or Medi-Cal in California) need to opt for the new Obamacare exchanges? I am from CA and I’ve Medi-Cal. Do I need to make the shift or stay with my current plan? Thank you!

If you are eligible for Medi-Cal, you are ineligible for premium tax credits and cannot enroll in a health insurance plan through the Covered California exchange. You can always enroll in a health plan off the exchange, but again, if your income is so low that you qualify for Medi-Cal, you are not supposed to have the money it takes to pay for other health insurance, and the agent is supposed to enroll you in Medi-Cal.
