My wife is a retired teacher. I am covered under her health policy until she turns 65. I am 65. Do I need to subscribe to medicare B?

Depends on whether you want it or not. If you are covered by your wife's plan at present, then you are not required to enroll. But the month in which you lose coverage triggers an 8-month window to enroll in Part B without a lifetime premium penalty. You'll also need to be covered by a "creditable" prescription drug plan, otherwise you face a 1% per month lifetime premium penalty for every month you did not have coverage.
