can you collect on a policy when you obtained the policy after the person was already missing for six months or less ? and all payments were made? we had no thought of him being dead but it has been seven years, should we stop paying for the policy?

You purchased insurance on someone who was not present to sign an application for insurance? Sounds like a fraudulent application, in which case the death claim is not likely to be paid and all premiums paid will be refunded. In certain states, application fraud is a prosecutable offense.

Some days my elder sister has died by cancer diseases .At that time her age was only 40.Before 15 years ago of her death she insured a policy to a life insurance company namely Alico. After her death i faces great problem to get the amount of insured policy. My problem is exactly like yours.
When anybody's age 53,he is not able to insured his life to any life insurance company.Because his age stay already at risk stage. No insurance company don't allow to insured such age of people.
Basically after 40 years of men and women faces different kinds of diseases .At the age of 50-60 many people in danger situation.
After 40 years of age men cause a great problem of his or her body.Actually this time is very risk.
When a man or woman died before his expectation ,his or her heir will faces to get such kind of problem. But all the time it does not hamper for any heir.

The benefits of life insurance policy is not paid automatically, a person will legally declared death if a person is having any proof of missing and any proof for the death of that person. If a person is missing for a specific or an extended period of time and having no evidence then the person is still alive and if the circumstances of that person is disappear then it is believed that the person will death.

Based on what? An insurance company does not pay a death claim without a death certificate. Some states have laws that permit a person to be declared dead if they have been missing for a certain period of time. The number SEVEN is not a magic number.Posted: Sun Jan 11, 2015 02:16 pm Post Subject: missing daughter
