I have secured 82% in mathematics in my HSC examination and an aggregate of 76% . I want to do the Actuaries course but i fail to be eligible for that in Indian Actuaries Institute. I want to know whether i can do this course from any othe Actuary Institute?

Hi Ela, you can try in the following institutes as well.
Insurance Acturial Science University of Chennai
Acturial Science Bharathidasan University.....they offer P.G.Dip in Actuarial Science

Actually I'm with an Indian origin...so studied a bit about the Indian industries..but certainly I'm not qualified to be an actuary!

Yes, I understand, you are showing intrest in this part of the forum, so that is why I wondered, there are not many people who venture into this part of the forum. Are you a numbers guy? Do you enjoy working with all the mathematical parts of life? I only go as far as handling my check book and don't do much more than that besides maybe helping one of the kids with math, hee hee. I do find it interesting to read the discussions here though, wish more experts in this area would post here to get some conversation going, at least then there would be some one to post questions to right?
