As Seen On Oprah & 20/20
People Helping People ……..This really works……..
dehawk001[at]yahoo.com
It’s never enough money is it? Stressed over finances? In these trying times we have to help each other. We all know our kids come first. It’s really hard on a person if they all of a sudden get laid off or can’t work because of a disability while trying to provide for their family. I came across this income opportunity and asked myself over and over again, why won’t this work! If we all do it, it should work. Shouldn’t it? Being skeptical in nature, I researched this opportunity and can’t seem to find any fault with it. Please read the following and consider on making a decision to come on board. I found this on a bulletin board and decided to try it: Make Money with your PayPal account as shown on Oprah! “A little while back, I was browsing the news groups and came across an article similar to this that said you could make thousands of dollars within weeks with only an initial investment of $6.00! So I thought, “Yeah right, this must be a scam”, but like most of us, I was curious, so I kept reading. Anyway, it said that you send only $1.00 to each of the 6 email address stated in this article. You then place your name and email address at the bottom of the list at the # 6th position and post this message on online message boards/emails. So after thinking it over, I thought about trying it. I figured “what have I got to lose except $6.00, right?” So I invested the measly $6.00. Well, GUESS WHAT!!!
Here are the easy steps to success:
You must have a verified PayPal account. If you do not have an account, take a few minutes to join PayPal FREE: www[dot]paypal[dot]com PayPal is 100% secure and is used by millions of people worldwide. NOTE: Once you have a PayPal account running. Use PayPal to pay $1USD to pay people with an email address in PayPal.
FOLLOW THESE EASY STEPS:
1. Log into PayPal. Go to SEND MONEY Tab.
2. Type in: Recipients name: (Email address)

3. Next screen: CHECK PAYMENT DETAIL-Select “NO SHIPPING ADDRESS REQUIRED”
4. Send Money
THAT’S IT. YOU’RE DONE!!!
What you are doing is creating a service.
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY LEGAL!
You are requesting a legitimate service and you are paying for it!
Send $1USD to EACH of these Email addresses:

3.) afram…[at]yahoo.com
4.) alian_unlimi…[at]yahoo.com
5.) sbon…[at]optonline.net

Now…AFTER paying $1Usd to each of the email addresses above, take the #1 Email Address off the list, move the other Email Addresses up (6 becomes 5, 5 becomes 4, etc.) and add Your Email Address as number 6 on the list.
Keep this article as close to the original as possible. Post this article to at least 200 newsgroups (there are thousands of groups). And email your message to as many people as you can. For example you log onto any search engine like yahoo[dot]com, google[dot]com, altavista[dot]com, excite.com then you search with subjects like? E-mail chain letter scam aside...the insurance industry did a study some years back.
The question they asked was..."How much income would you need to be financially sound?
The answer was the same across ALL income demographics.
The person who earned $25,000 said if they had $50,000 then they'd be financially sound.
The person who earned $125,000 said if they had $250,000 then they'd be financially sound.
The person who earned $250,000 said if they had $500,000 then they'd be financially sound.
So what became obvious was most all person's were actually broke regardless of how much they earned and the key to the financial promised land was double their current income.
Interesting?
  :P My prediction is this thread will be sentenced to cyberspace purgatory as soon as one of the mods finds it UNLESS they leave it alone for our entertainment purposes.

DEHAWK, please take your scam to Yahoo or somewhere!!
The income potential was not featured on Oprah, that's just part of the lie.
This e-mail (chain letter) scam was mentioned on Oprah on a segment about scams to watch out for.
I would almost bet my next paycheck that all of those e-mail addresses belong to you. How about it?

For those of you who don't "know" how the chain letter scam works.
The person who "creates" the chain letter in the only person the money is going to. So when you send your $1.00 dollar to the other five people on the list you are sending five dollars to the same person who has five different e-mail and pay-pal accounts.
They send millions of these out because a fool and their money are easily separated. Out of one million if only 2,000 people (0.002%) send $5.00 that's $10,000 to the scammer.
You'll recieve no money.
ONLY the "owner" of the scam receives any money.

:P This is so much fun! 8)
why won’t this work! If we all do it, it should work. Shouldn’t it?
No silly, because of the geometric progression.
There simply isn't enough people on the planet.
1 million chain letter e-mails send to 5 new people, now there are 6 million involved who send to another 5 each, now there are 30,000,000 million players after just two levels who send out to another 5, now there are 150,000,000 million players in the game. Half the population of the USA....and what happens at the next level? 750,000,000 million would be in the game double the population of the USA.
Remember someone has to start the chain letter. Doesn't it make sense for that person to get the most bang for the buck, the starter must send out as many as possible to get this ball rollin'?
This Geometric Progression Recruiting Scheme is represented ideally below:
You: 1
Level 1: 10 (11 people involved)
Level 2: 100 (111 people involved)
Level 3: 1,000 (1,111 people involved)
Level 4: 100,000 (101,111 people involved)
Level 5: 1,000,000 (1,101,111 people involved)
Level 6: 10,000,000 (1,1101,111 people involved)
Level 7: 100,000,000 (111,101,111 people involved)
Level 8: 1,000,000,000 (1,111,101,111 people involved)
Level 9: 10,000,000,000 (There are only a few over 6,000,000,000 people in the world).

A fool and their money are soon parted, yessss indeeeedy. Another variation of the age-old chain letter and....(drum roll please) we'll all make money!! YEEEE HAAAA, PAW!! :!: :!: :D :? :( :x
Gary, you really do need to get a life. You're spending waaaaaay too much time factoiding the daylights out of these poor, pathetic souls who, frankly, deserve everything they have coming to them. (sorry derek, at least it was a cheap lesson @ $6, and I don't know you well enough to call you pathetic ).
These quotes kind of say it all:
"Tis better to be silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt." -Abraham Lincoln
"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe." -Albert Einstein
"If there are no stupid questions, then what kind of questions do stupid people ask? Do they get smart just in time to ask questions?" -Scott Adams
"The trouble ain't that there is too many fools, but that the lightning ain't distributed right." -Mark Twain
"Dopeler effect: The tendency of stupid ideas to seem smarter when they come at you rapidly." -Author unknown
"Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe." -Frank Zappa
And finally: "We have enough youth, how about a fountain of smart?" -Author Unknown

InsTeacher what I really get a kick out of is when they quote the exact Federal Law that makes this illegal and THEN they claim THAT is what makes it perfectly legal.
Too funny!
I'm glad the mods didn't delete this thread as I believe it's instructive.
