I'm not exactly sure, but is ADHD a disability? My brother and I both have it and I was wondering if we get Insurance for it. I know it has to do with not being able to pay attention, being forgetful, and being easily distracted. It seems like a disability to me, but I just wanted to make sure.

ADHD is normally found amongst the children, but is gradually becoming more prominent amongst the adult as well. An adult with ADHD may face difficulties in finding employment. Also if can affect your daily activities.

You need to find an insurance agent, who sells disability insurance and need to ask whether the insurer will cover someone with a existing health condition like ADHD or not.

Also, you can check out with the social security benefit. It may offer allowance for people suffering from such health conditions.

Not sure what you want to know, if you can buy insurance or if you're wanting to ride a disability train?

If I sound harsh, I have A LOT of experience with this and don't cotton too well to everyone being disabled...

I don't think there's insurance company in the land, or there right mind, who will insure you for a disability you already have.

Social Security has a disability claim option for learning disabilities (ADHD included).

I can't find anything about insurance but maybe Social Security will help? Hope everything works out for you! God bless you. Take care. @_@
