i was getting lost wages up until yesterday. the doc says part time light duty work. insurance has paid until this point. if i worked a 20 hour work week, they were paying for the other 20 hours per week. now they're only paying half of what i work. so if i work 20 hours they pay for 10 now. i asked my rep," so if my back was snapped in half i'd have to work fulltime, 80 hour pay periods, only to get 40 hours from you" she replied no. so i asked what the f-bomb then cuz my back is pretty screwed up and your just adding insult to injury. can i sue the sh** out of these dumb f-bombs? and can i change the company name to my own?

(I'm not sure this belongs in auto but was where the op posted on an old thread)
OP, what exactly type of claim do you have? is this a disability or workers comp or where you in an auto accident that caused the injury...
just a little advise, dropping f-bombs will just get you hung up on with an adjuster...try really hard to keep it clean ok? (atleast on this site  )

I think the OP would like to discuss about disability benefits.
Fred, have you enquired with the insurer why they have halved the benefits? They may have acted as per the verbiage of the policy.
How long have you been receiving the benefits?
You can receive the disability benefit for 200 days for partial disability.
Sorry, but without knowing the exact reason for reducing the benefit amount, its difficult to say if you have a case in hand or not.

Which state are you from, fred?
When the rep said that they can't reduce the benefits, hasn't she stated the reason as well? Try to get hold of a written version of it. It'll act as a favorable document if you sue the insurer.
Discussion with an attorney can help you in understanding your situation better. Good luck!! Can keep us posted with the developments.
