I was on short term disability ,then went on for long term.my co let me go feb 10/08.if i am released to work dec.10/08 can i still get my unemployment benefits,if filed before feb 2009.

ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE. If jonsmith is an insurance agent, he has a very poor understanding of the business.
